True, legal boundaries are only determined on the ground by surveyors licensed in the State of California. Numerous records are freely available at the <\/SPAN><A href=\"http://dpw.lacounty.gov/apps/survey/landrecords/\" STYLE=\"text-decoration:underline;\"><SPAN>Land Records Information<\/SPAN><\/A><SPAN>website, hosted by the Department of Public Works.<\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN>Principal attributes include:<\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN STYLE=\"font-weight:bold;\">NO: <\/SPAN><SPAN>corresponds with numbers on the tables displayed on City Annexation Maps.<\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN STYLE=\"font-weight:bold;\">ANNEX_No: <\/SPAN><SPAN>is a text version of the \"NO\" field listed above.
